After going unbeaten in the Europa league this season, United were defeated in the final against another struggling English side, Tottenham Hotspur.

Brennan Johnson manage to tap home from close range from Pape Sarr's cross which deflected from Luke Shaw to send Tottenham Hotspur to the champion's league next season.

It was a night of dreadful performance from the reds.

A. Onana-6/10

Onana was not to blame for the goal which deflected off Luke Shaw but was able to grap some couple of saves in the first half, not troubled in the second half.

L. Yoro-8/10

This is arguably Man united best performer of the night. His growing confidence is something magnificent. He progressed the ball from deep so many times, make good tackles, composed under pressure, great lad.

H. Maguire-7/10

Another solid performance from the English man despite the defeat, he kept Solanke quiet in the game with some good headers. Moved forward as United progressed look to find an equaliser.

L. Shaw-3/10

A very lackluster performance from Shaw, gave the ball away so many times, deflected the ball for Johnson's tap in, and look ineffective going forward for united. Injuries has caused a drop in form for Shaw.

N. Mazraoui-6/10

He was energetic till he was subbed for Dalot in the second half, great defending, and contributed little in attack.

Casemiro-5/10

A night to forget for the Brazilian, he was strong in the middle but struggled in the first half, though he makes some tackles.

B. Fernandes-7/10

United skipper didn't have a good night, giving the ball away so many times in the game, grew into the game especially in the second half, but couldn't match his side to victory.

He was tireless pouncing on every tackles, created good chances for Amad, got back to defend he also had a good night like Yoro.

The ivorian tried his best but couldn't split the Tottenham defence, had a good chance to score in the first half. He also missed a good sitter in the second half, well, that was the night for Amad.

M. Mount-5/10

He shouldn't have started, hw couldn't contribute much in the game, struggling against Pedro Porro and Van de Ven in the game, offering little threat in the box.

R. Hojlund-2/10

He was the worst performer of the night. Missed a good chance for an equaliser which he headed directly on goal from Vikario's pounce on the ball, only to be denied by a masterclass goal clearance from Micky Van de ven. Struggled in most part of the game.
